Hit charter Bougainvillea has been leaked online, Amal Neerad crime thriller getting postive reports from theaters

Bougainvillea Leaked Online: The Malayalam crime thriller film Bougainvillea, starring Fahadh Faasil, premiered in theaters on October 17, 2024. The cast also includes Kunchacko Boban and Jyothirmayi in prominent roles. Following its release, the film has garnered positive reviews from both audiences and critics.

However, mere hours after its theatrical debut, Bougainvillea was leaked online on torrent sites such as Filmyzilla, Tamilrockers, and various Telegram channels in HD quality. This incident is not unprecedented, as previous films including Salaar, Kalki 2898 AD, Aavesham, GOAT, and Aadujeevitham have similarly fallen victim to piracy.

About Bougainvillea:

Directed and written by Amal Neerad, in collaboration with Lajo Jose on the screenplay, Bougainvillea promises a gripping cinematic experience. The film is co-produced by Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban under Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures, featuring a talented ensemble cast. Alongside Fahadh Faasil and Jyothirmayi, the film includes notable performances from Sharaf U Dheen, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda. Notably, this film marks Jyothirmayi's return to the screen after an 11-year hiatus.

Filming took place from September 2023 to April 2024, with Sushin Shyam composing the music, Anend C. Chandran serving as cinematographer, and Vivek Harshan handling the editing. Lajo Jose has stated that the film’s narrative is original, refuting speculation that it is adapted from his novel Ruthinte Lokam.

ACP David Koshy is tasked with investigating the mysterious disappearance of tourists in Kerala, with Reethu emerging as the primary suspect.
