Mamangam Movie Review, Rating And Box Office Collection Report

Mamangam, the much awaited, much hyped movie from Malayalam film industry is hit over
2000+ screens from today around the world. Mamangam released in multi languages
include Malayalam, tamil, telugu and hindi today.

As per the initial reports, its getting positive reviews and ratings from Malayalam, Telugu,
Tamil and Hindi audience. The big-budget film has been helmed by M Padmakumar. Earlier,
Sanjeev Pillai had been roped in to direct the feature. However, due to varied reasons, the
job ultimately fell into Padmakumar’s lap.The film is centered around the Mamankam festival.
It tells the story of ‘Chavers’ (suicide warriors) who plan to overthrow the Zamorin ruler.
Apart from Mammootty, Mamangam features Unni Mukundan, Kaniha, Anu Sithara, Tarun Raj
Arora, Prachi Tehlan, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna, Manikuttan and Siddique among others.
Review 

As per the audience; Mamangam can be marked as the best visual treat witnessed for a
Malayalam movie till date with high production value. First half of the movie is an emotionally
stimulating one filled with a bunch of slow and steady classy sequences, whether the second
half become ultimate mass entertainer with Visually grand War scenes. When you compare
to any other already released usual historic period drama movies, mamangam will stand out
as it have minimal vfx and more real effects
Performance 

Mammootty has delivered an electrifying performance with his different makeover. His action
and dialogue diction are the biggest highlights of Mamangam. Unni Mukundan is in his career
best performance, Prachi Tehlan and Achuthan have played important roles and they are
assets of the film. Siddique, Tarun Arora, Mohan Sharma, Anu Sithara, Kaniha and other
artistes have also done justice to their roles, says the audience.
Techno-Crafts

Mamangam has brilliant production values, which are on par with international standards.
M Jayachandran's stunning background score, Manoj Pillai's beautiful frames, amazing
action choreography, dialogues, costumes, weapon designs and art direction make the movie
a visual treat.
BottomLine: Impressive first half with scenes involving Mammookka being the highlight.
Emotional factor and rich production values works in favor with technological impact-full
mass second half . The much talked about feminine character from Mammookka is terrific.
Watch out for the dance steps :). Undoubtedly expecting to be an ultimate box office
blockbuster. 
Box Office Collection

With a good number of fans shows and multi language release Mamangam going to be the
highest first day grosser in Malayalam film industry. Expected to have 10-15 Cr minimum first
day collection. Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu versions are getting high box office response
but the hindi version release is less in number in major cities with very less bookings.
