The first song from Sidharth
Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor’s much-awaited film Ek Villain is
out and we aren’t disappointed at all. Titled Galliyan, this romantic song
has been composed and sung by Ankit Tiwari who shot to fame with Aashiqui
2 song Sun raha hai na tu. And we must admit the talented singer has
done a mighty job this time as well. The music ofGalliyan is soulful and
easy on the ears. It is one of those songs which you would love listening to
while going on long drive with your special someone. Yes, the music at the very
beginning did remind us of Anikt’s hit number from Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha starrer
but Galliyan is completely different from Sun raha hai na tu otherwise.
The lyrics of this beautiful composition have penned by Manoj Muntashir.
Coming to the video, it’s an absolute visual delight and perfectly syncs with
the song. Brownie points to the makers of Ek
Villain for this one. As for Sid and Shraddha, the couple looks great
together and their chemistry in Ankit Tiwari’s romantic number is sizzling but
in a unconventional way. Watch the video and you’ll understand what are trying
to say.
Not to forget, the
underwater portion has also been shot amazingly well. We hear both Sidharth and
his onscreen ladylove were underwater for around seven hours to just to shoot Galliyan.
Obviously the duo took breaks in between but we are sure it wouldn’t have been
easy at all, hai na? But going the end result we thinks their efforts have
paid off.
