Salman Khan is
returning with bang through his much-hyped Jai Ho, which released worldwide
this Friday (January 24).
Jai Ho, a remake of A R Murugaddos's Telugu flick Stalin that featured Mega Star Chiranjeevi, is a highly thrilling action film targeted mainly at Salman Khan fans. In a Salman Khan movie that is created just to become a 200 crore earning blockbuster, you can see a lot of mega plot holes which you should ignore if you want to enjoy it. When you are going to watch Jai Ho, you are not going with a mindset of watching a Fellini or Bergman film. This is a superstar commercial film, catered for a particular set of audience and when taken in that context, the movie is good in its own way.

Story Line
Story revolves around
an idea Jai Agnihotri (Salman Khan )who is an ex-army Major creates to help
people. The idea is that when somebody helps you, you don't tell him/her 'Thank
You' but instead help three other people in return and tell them to help three
others too. Jai, thanks to his never ending fight for justice, is framed by the
home minister for the crimes he never committed. Whether he comes out clean or
not forms the crust of the story. The story has a progression of sorts and
could be digestible even by a non-salman fan, even though it is not at all new.
Positives
Jai Ho is, without any doubt, is a Salman Khan show but the director cleverly casted good actors for key roles so that the emotional conflict in the film will work fine. Irrespective of the nature of the film, Tabu delivers a mature and natural Performance as Salman's sister. Daisy Shah plays the essential love interest of the hero. Salman and Daisy has a good chemistry which is very visible on screen. Jai Ho is a treat for action movie fans as it has a lot of innovative and powerful stunt scenes in it. Even though film begins with cliché scenes and songs, somewhere in the middle, it starts catching the threshold it desperately needed. If you have anything to look for in Jai Ho, it is the scenes that lead Salman to punch the villains. Sohail Khan, surprisingly, has managed to get all the actors to present their best for all emotional scenes. Santhosh Shukla, an former Big Boss Contestant, has done a small villain role but has delivered a unique performance. All the actors has done their part well except Ashmit Patel who fortunately don't have a meaty role in this film. The climax fight scene is quite realistic and has a lot of blood in it. It just reminds you of the climax action scene in John Abraham's Force. Bangalore bases stunt choreographer Ravi Verma has done a great job and his thrills are the USP of this Salman Khan film. The technical department of this film has done a commendable job. National Award winner Sabu Cyril served as the art director for this movie while highly acclaimed cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil handled the camera. Even though the songs are not that impressive, movie has all the potential to become a blockbuster.

Crazy Words
In a scene, Sunil
Shetty saves Salman Khan by smashing the villain's car with his army tanker,
that too in public road. Nobody knows from where he appeared and how he
appeared and how an Army tanker is permitted in the public road to smash cars
and kill people!. But It can happen in a Sohail Khan film'
